I love these SelphBalance PH Test Strips, not only are they are great for testing the levels of soils PH, but also my PH. The first test I did was on the soil for a Fern plant that had spent most of last year outside, until the extreme cold came over, at which point I had to move the plant inside. I wanted to make sure that the PH levels were still good, since the plant encountered a lot of trauma with the climate change, and also everything else with the move inside. I took a little sample of soil and placed it in a small plastic container. I then took a small cup and put distilled water in it. I then took the water a poured some into the container with the soil in it, and mix well. I then placed one of the test strips into the soil and waited the estimated time for results. I was amazed at how fast the whole process was. I was happy with the results, and they showed my plant is fine. I was also able to do a saliva test to check my PH levels. I followed the instructions on the back of the packaged, and then waited for the results (a whole 15 seconds). I love that I am able to use the strips many different ways, and for many different things. Not only did I find a use for them with my plants, but also with me.
