Cyrus has been restricted to a limited amount of car rides, due to Cyrus getting super excited, and then becoming almost uncontrollable. He would run around on the back seat, as well as try to be a lap dog while someone is trying to drive, so it became unsafe to try and take him on very many car rides. I felt horrible for him, he loves to go places. I ordered this safety belt from Amazon, with a coupon code. I received the package 2 days later, right on time. When I opened the package, there were 2 safety belt restraint tethers. On one end of the tether there is a hook, that hooks on to your dogs collar. The other end hooks where your normal car seat belt hooks into. It is super easy to use, and it is also adjustable so you are able to decide how far your pet can go. When I first hooked Cyrus to it, he didn't seem to mind, even when he discovered he is limited as to how far he can go. I liked that I didn't have to worry about him, as well as trying to drive.
